Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive data conversion efforts during full-system transitions from newly acquired organizations
- Examine and interpret financial data extracted from source systems including QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel, and various CRM platforms
- Gain in-depth knowledge of revenue recognition methods, contract frameworks, billing models, and sales workflows of acquired businesses
- Convert operational understanding into data logic, reconstructing datasets to meet GAAP-compliant revenue reporting standards
- Detect, resolve, and document data discrepancies and missing elements prior to and throughout migration phases
- Transform legacy data from acquired entities into formats compatible with Salesforce CPQ and enterprise resource planning systems
- Work collaboratively with accounting and operations teams from acquired companies, as well as internal Sales, Finance, and IT departments
- Engage in discovery meetings to ensure precise interpretation and handling of source data
- Conduct post-migration data verification and reconciliation, identify variances, and lead corrective actions
- Provide support for post-transition revenue adjustments to maintain integrity across billing and financial records
- Contribute to broader post-merger integration initiatives, including system testing and process optimization
