Turner & Townsend is hiring a Senior Estimator Defence

We are now looking for talented Senior Estimators with proven Defence estimating experience to work with a number of our key Defence sector clients. Our team deliver a wide range of estimating outputs for our clients, to support their decision making, including: - Estimate / cost model production (from Order of Magnitude through to detailed estimates) - Estimating assurance - Major programmes estimating strategy - Commercial data & benchmarking As a Senior Estimator within the Estimating team at Turner & Townsend you will be responsible for: - Supporting leadership or managing the production of accurate and comprehensive estimates for projects/programmes - Playing a supporting role in the development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend; - Playing a supporting role in the achievement of departmental objectives; - Supporting bids for new work - Acting as a role model for less experienced staff - Staff management (where appropriate) - Supporting development and promotion of estimating best practice; - Staying abreast of developments within own technical area of expertise to be able to give best practice advice in line with business objectives; - Actively helping the development of Defence Estimating across the business
