Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams working on offer delivery systems
- Collaborate with product managers to define roadmap priorities and execution timelines
- Ensure engineering solutions meet performance, scalability, and compliance requirements
- Drive incident response and post-mortem processes to improve system resilience
- Partner with data science teams to integrate risk models into production workflows
- Oversee the design and implementation of APIs and backend services
- Champion best practices in software development, testing, and deployment
- Manage team goals, performance reviews, and career development plans
- Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment
- Optimize system uptime and reduce latency in offer generation pipelines
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve system efficiency
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams on capacity planning and monitoring
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Lead technical planning for large-scale system changes
- Ensure security standards are met across all components of the delivery stack
- Support recruiting efforts to grow and diversify the engineering team
- Participate in engineering-wide initiatives and leadership forums
- Maintain documentation and runbooks for critical systems
- Drive automation of operational tasks to reduce manual toil
- Balance technical debt reduction with feature development demands
