Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of transmission and distribution line projects with a focus on PLS-CADD modeling and structural analysis.
- Create and evaluate transmission line configurations, including structure loading, sag-tension profiles, and clearance assessments.
- Act as a technical mentor and resource for engineers and designers, providing quality assurance, review, and design guidance.
- Collaborate with internal teams across substation, civil, environmental, and right-of-way disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Engage directly with clients, utilities, and stakeholders to establish project scope, timelines, and engineering approaches.
- Review and certify engineering deliverables as required by professional licensure.
- Conduct site visits, constructability evaluations, and provide field support during construction phases when necessary.
- Support the development of team standards, workflows, and best practices to enhance engineering performance.
