Responsibilities
- Integrate privacy principles early into product, platform, and operational processes
- Develop and enhance engineering systems that manage data subject rights, data lifecycle, and regulatory adherence
- Convert legal and compliance mandates into technical specifications, design patterns, and implementation plans
- Create and maintain Python-based tools, services, and automated workflows to support privacy operations
- Enable workflow automation and orchestration using platforms such as Temporal
- Operate and maintain secure, scalable systems in AWS and comparable cloud environments
- Write and execute SQL queries to locate, archive, purge, or analyze data for compliance purposes
- Collaborate with engineers and system architects to build data solutions that balance business needs with data protection
- Perform privacy risk assessments and support remediation through tooling, training, and guidance
- Evaluate new systems, features, and data flows for privacy impact and advise on technical safeguards
- Work with product and engineering teams to design solutions that support data minimization, retention policies, deletion, and access controls
- Lead project execution from requirement definition to delivery, including stakeholder communication
- Enhance documentation, reporting, and evidence collection processes to support compliance frameworks
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and ensure consistency
