Renesas Electronics is hiring a Senior Engineer to join our Automotive Digital Products Marketing Division. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting hardware solutions for our 32-bit Automotive Microcontrollers, contributing to product definition and acting as a bridge between hardware and software.
What You'll Do
- Support hardware solutions for Renesas 32-bit Automotive Microcontrollers
- Contribute to new product definition and planning
- Collect, define, and follow up on customer and market hardware requirements
- Define hardware requirements for future Microcontroller products and discuss them with development teams
- Bridge hardware solutions with related software solutions, requirements, and tools
- Work with internal marketing teams to define and roll out Renesas solution menus
- Provide technical support internally and to customers
- Create and present supporting material such as collaterals, application notes, and trainings
- Coordinate and facilitate effective information exchange with Renesas headquarters
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Fundamental knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country
Nice to Have
- German language skills
- Experience in MCU architecture, preferably ARM
- Programming embedded Microcontrollers in C / C++
- Experience in product definition and requirement management
- Handling of complex technical RfQs in collaboration with key customers
- Experience in customer negotiations
