This senior-level position is responsible for architecting, maintaining, and securing enterprise infrastructure spanning hybrid cloud, networking, and on-premises environments. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and operational efficiency through automation, identity integration, and cross-functional collaboration across global IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage multi-cloud and hybrid network architectures, ensuring secure traffic flow, segmentation, and connectivity for global offices using ZTNA and SASE frameworks.
- Lead the design and operational support of core network services such as DNS, DHCP, and load balancing for enterprise applications.
- Implement and optimize wireless networking solutions across office locations, focusing on coverage, performance, security, and user experience.
- Deploy and manage cloud and on-premises server platforms, including Windows Server workloads across AWS, Azure, and data centers, integrated with identity and security controls.
- Administer enterprise IT services including identity management, email security, and productivity platforms in coordination with security teams.
- Conduct system and security audits, and implement backup and disaster recovery processes aligned with compliance standards.
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability across network, server, and platform layers.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex, cross-domain technical issues.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and workflow tools to enhance consistency and efficiency.
- Guide platform design for scalability, availability, patching, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with application and operations teams to ensure platforms meet performance and support requirements.
- Maintain architecture documentation, configuration standards, and technology roadmaps.
- Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices to strengthen team capabilities.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience with at least 8 years in enterprise infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure, including networking, servers, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking, including routing, switching, segmentation, VPN, and secure remote access across multiple sites.
- Strong experience with hybrid and multi-cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including compute, identity integration, and connectivity.
- Hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and enterprise troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation to improve operational reliability and reduce manual processes.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills across technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience designing or operating Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architectures.
- Familiarity with identity platforms such as IAM, SSO, MFA, and tools like Okta or Active Directory.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects in large enterprise environments.
- Relevant certifications in networking, cloud platforms, or identity management.

$118,500 - $130,000. Bonus eligibility
