This is a hands-on engineering leadership role responsible for architecting, maintaining, and securing large-scale infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and operational efficiency through strong technical design, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and enhance enterprise networking across multiple cloud providers and on-premises systems, ensuring secure routing, segmentation, and traffic flow for global offices, WAN, internet, and remote access using Zero Trust and SASE principles.
- Lead the design and management of core network services such as DNS, DHCP, and load balancing to support enterprise application performance and availability.
- Implement and optimize wireless networking solutions across office locations, focusing on coverage, performance, security, and user experience.
- Deploy and manage server platforms in cloud and on-prem environments, including Windows Server workloads on AWS, Azure, and data centers, integrated with identity, networking, and security systems.
- Oversee identity and access management, email security, and productivity platforms, working with Security teams to define and enforce policies.
- Conduct system and security audits, and develop backup and disaster recovery strategies aligned with compliance and company standards.
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability across network, server, and platform layers.
- Troubleshoot complex, cross-domain issues involving networking, compute, identity, and core services to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and workflow tools to increase consistency, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.
- Ensure infrastructure designs support high availability, scalability, patching, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with application and operations teams to align platform architecture with reliability, performance, and support needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, configuration standards, and technology roadmaps for infrastructure systems.
- Mentor engineering staff, promote best practices, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing technical culture.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with at least 8 years in relevant infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience in designing and supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure, including networking, servers, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking technologies such as routing, switching, segmentation, VPN, secure remote access, and multi-site connectivity.
- Extensive experience with hybrid and multi-cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, including compute, identity integration, and connectivity.
- Demonstrated ability to support enterprise Wi-Fi across multiple office locations with attention to security and user experience.
- In-depth experience with Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and file/print services.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell to streamline operations and improve reliability.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration abilities across technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience designing or operating Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and SASE architectures.
- Familiarity with identity and access management platforms such as Okta, including SSO and MFA configurations.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects in complex enterprise environments.
- Relevant certifications in networking, cloud platforms, enterprise productivity suites, or identity management.

Compensation
$118,500 - $130,000. Eligible for bonuses; actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, education, certifications, or location.
