Coherent Corp. is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the IT network and systems for our Vietnam sites. You will be the primary point of contact for all local IT support requests, ensuring reliable and secure operations.
What You'll Do
- Provide setup and manage the IT network and system for all Vietnam sites.
- Support all local IT requests as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of direct experience in network and system management and administration.
- 1+ years of managerial or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of network operating systems, particularly Windows Server, and data communication protocols and technologies.
- Demonstrated skills in project planning, project management, documentation, problem-solving, and work prioritization.
- Excellent customer service skills, including a strong sense of urgency, enthusiasm, and effective telephone techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with end-users and management.
- Good command of spoken and written Vietnamese and English.
- Must be both team-oriented and self-motivated.
- Familiarity with the administration and support of voice communications.
- Culturally sensitive, valuing diversity and able to collaborate with team members from different backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel, both internationally and domestically.
Nice to Have
- MCSE and Cisco certifications are desired.
