TensorOps is hiring a (Senior) Embedded Software Engineer to develop the safety-critical software stack that directly controls vehicle functions for remote driving. You will build firmware enabling real vehicles to be operated remotely on public roads, directly influencing acceleration, steering, braking, and safety monitoring.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and verify embedded software for the safe remote operation of vehicles on public roads.
- Extend and maintain validation infrastructure, including simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and in-vehicle systems.
- Improve automation in development workflows and internal tooling.
- Collaborate with hardware, motion control, and systems engineers to solve challenges unique to remote driving.
- Contribute to both microcontroller and FPGA domains if experienced with FPGA/VHDL.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with C programming for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with RTOS (real-time operating systems).
- Experience with testing environments such as simulation, HIL, and in-vehicle validation.
- A problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach.
Nice to Have
- FPGA programming in VHDL.
