True Anomaly is hiring a Senior Embedded Security Engineer, Flight Software

Responsibilities

  • Partner with flight software development teams to enhance the security posture of onboard spacecraft systems
  • Evaluate security aspects of flight control software, control logic, and data transmission protocols
  • Define and uphold secure coding standards for embedded software where safety is critical
  • Lead threat modeling exercises and assess security architecture in embedded environments
  • Embed security testing capabilities into development tooling, test setups, and automated pipelines
  • Assist in securing onboard hardware and firmware components
  • Work across disciplines to integrate security requirements throughout spacecraft design and deployment
  • Provide security support during active missions, including monitoring and incident response

Compensation

Base Salary: Long Beach - $150,000 to $205,000, Denver - $145,000 to $195,000, SF Bay Area - $165,000 to $235,000. Equity and benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave.
