TE Connectivity is looking for a Senior Embedded Application Developer to join our team. Your primary mission will be to develop innovative solutions for monitoring and fault diagnosis in power grids. You will architect complex applications on Embedded Linux platforms, working closely with a global, interdisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Develop embedded applications on OS-based platforms like Yocto and Zephyr.
- Design and implement HMI, communication, and data processing modules.
- Integrate middleware, protocols, and network interfaces including TCP/IP, MQTT, Modbus, IEC 60870, and IEC 61850.
- Perform performance optimization and debugging on Embedded Linux systems.
- Create automated test suites (Unit-Tests, HIL, SIL).
- Develop software architectures and create UML diagrams.
- Maintain and extend CI/CD pipelines for application software.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in hardware and product management.
- Integrate products with cloud platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Mentor other team members.
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a comparable field.
- 6+ years of experience in embedded application development.
- Strong proficiency in C++ (OOP) and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and real-time communication.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Fluency in German (C1) and English.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker.
- Knowledge of Python for automation.
- Experience in signal processing and fault detection algorithms.
- Understanding of cybersecurity for embedded systems.
