About the Role

The engineer will lead electrical design efforts, support project execution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of electrical systems for industrial projects
  • Produce detailed design documentation including schematics, layouts, and specifications
  • Perform calculations for load analysis, short circuit studies, and coordination
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards such as NEC and IEEE
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to meet project timelines
  • Conduct site assessments and support construction phase activities
  • Review vendor submittals and ensure technical compliance
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support teams
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and commissioning
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
  • Prepare cost estimates and support procurement processes
  • Coordinate with external consultants and regulatory agencies
  • Develop single-line diagrams and wiring schematics
  • Support safety reviews and hazard analyses
  • Ensure integration of electrical systems with control and automation components
  • Manage design changes through formal engineering change processes
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation
  • Participate in design reviews and technical meetings
  • Verify system performance through testing and validation
  • Promote energy efficiency and sustainable design practices
