Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and oversee cloud environments with a focus on Google Cloud Platform and some use of Amazon Web Services.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources consistently and reliably.
- Create and sustain configuration automation workflows using Ansible and SaltStack.
- Construct and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for seamless application and infrastructure releases.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters, including GKE and EKS, handling deployment, scaling, and issue resolution.
- Develop and update automation scripts in Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting languages.
- Enforce cloud security standards covering identity management, network protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with development, security, and platform teams to ensure stable production operations.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced infrastructure and platform-level technical issues, supporting incident response as needed.
