Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy reliable continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows for cloud-based distributed systems across multiple environments
- Guarantee smooth incorporation of code updates into production and staging infrastructure
- Automate routine operations involving network setup, resource allocation, and system configuration
- Create custom scripts and utilities to eliminate manual effort and increase operational efficiency
- Maintain version control and repeatability for all network-related modifications
- Work with networking specialists to automate configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet
- Deploy monitoring frameworks to track performance and reliability of applications and network systems
- Address system incidents quickly, diagnose root causes, and apply corrective and preventive actions
- Enforce security standards throughout the software development and release lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and proactively mitigate potential security risks
- Partner with telecom, software, and cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and collaboration
- Foster a culture of responsibility and ownership within the engineering team
- Support the 'you build it, you own it' model by encouraging strong design, coding, and documentation standards
