Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable CI/CD systems using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Apply GitOps methodologies to streamline application and infrastructure rollouts.
- Automate software delivery across development, testing, staging, and live environments.
- Set up approval checkpoints, release methods, and branch safeguards.
- Create rollback and recovery protocols for production deployments.
- Develop reusable deployment templates and shared pipeline components.
- Automate Control-M job deployments via the Control-M Automation API (AAPI).
- Manage Control-M job configurations as code using JSON formats.
- Build deployment automation with the ctm command-line interface.
- Implement workflows for promoting code across environments.
- Automate the export, validation, and deployment of Control-M jobs.
- Maintain version-controlled repositories for Control-M job definitions.
- Write and maintain Bash and Shell automation scripts.
- Automate the distribution of shell scripts to NAS systems.
- Perform Linux system administration and issue resolution.
- Enforce code quality standards using ShellCheck and validation tools.
- Manage deployment permissions and execution contexts.
- Implement automated release strategies for consistent deployments.
- Construct release pipelines with integrated approval processes.
- Configure deployment validation and system health monitoring.
- Support live environment releases and urgent deployment needs.
- Establish rollback plans for failed or problematic releases.
- Maintain up-to-date deployment documentation and release protocols.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning tasks as needed.
- Support initiatives that treat infrastructure as code.
