H1 is looking for a Senior DevOps AWS Cloud Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will be a key player in designing and implementing robust, automated systems that support our platform's reliability and growth.
What You'll Do
- Architect, build, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on AWS
- Design and implement comprehensive CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and testing
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system performance and health
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Enhance system security through configuration management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and lead incident response and post-mortem processes
- Collaborate with development teams to improve the software development lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering role
- Deep, hands-on expertise with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.)
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional)
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance)
- Knowledge of security best practices and tools for cloud environments
- Experience with service mesh technologies
- Background in software development
