Responsibilities
- Maintain tools and processes for enterprise-scale systems within a dynamic, agile, service-driven setting.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of full-stack software development, including databases, APIs, services, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to manage and support organization-wide development tools.
- Automate workflows for building, packaging, testing, and deploying software using scripts or tooling.
- Implement and support continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines across multiple product lines.
- Partner with configuration management to enable routine audits of environment settings and release activities.
- Work with release teams to establish adaptable release schedules, including weekly and monthly cycles.
- Automate full lifecycle build processes, system patching, and production deployments.
- Design and maintain configuration management practices to support secure and highly available systems.
- Scale infrastructure resources to accommodate growing system demands.
- Monitor platform performance and stability, diagnosing and resolving operational issues.
- Develop and maintain a secure, resilient, and efficient SaaS platform aligned with defined service level agreements.
- Support development teams utilizing automated infrastructure and tooling.
- Partner with developers to transition new features and services into production environments.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams to design automation solutions across business units.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to configure non-production and production environments, including application and tool deployment.
- Review and execute deployment procedures to ensure consistent, reproducible environments.
- Integrate automated testing at various levels—component, subsystem, system—and track outcomes.
- Promote automation and establish best practices for code control and management processes.
- Manage cross-functional requirements by working with Engineering, Product, Services, and other departments.
- Advise teams on DevOps principles to enhance scalability, reliability, performance, and time-to-market.
- Engage with leadership, team leads, and architects to communicate infrastructure needs and resolve deployment blockers.
- Fulfill all duties outlined in the annual performance plan.
- Complete assigned special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
