Senior Developer - Java Location: Hyderabad Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office About the Role The Senior Developer is responsible for the overall performance of the product by applying principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software. This role ensures the timely delivery of high-quality software within release timelines and guidelines, while providing technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance across the engineering team. Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do Design and develop complex code based on functional specifications, completing logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standards. Translate and analyze software requirements into design specifications, ensuring consistent adherence to requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Lead complex peer code reviews and provide strategic insight on the broader impact of software changes across the product. Contribute to the implementation of a delivery pipeline, including test automation, security, and performance practices. Research and resolve complex escalations for production and software code issues to ensure the ongoing stability of the application. Mentor, coach, and provide actionable feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Technology Tools Java, Spring, Hibernate, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript Role Essentials — What You Bring 6+ years of experience in software development or a related engineering discipline. Significant experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, or JavaScript. Demonstrated experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, and continuous software delivery practices. Experience with test automation, continuous integration tools, and software application testing methodologies. Experience working in Windows and/or Linux development environments using open-source tools and platforms.
