Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze key database metrics to ensure performance and reliability goals are achieved.
- Collaborate with database administrators to identify repetitive tasks and implement scalable automation solutions.
- Apply data-centric methods to enhance database system performance and uptime.
- Offer expert guidance on database design, query optimization, and deployment standards to engineering and site reliability teams.
- Support performance diagnostics and in-depth analysis for database-related incidents.

- Occasional on-call or after-hours duties are expected as part of the role.
- For remote placements: employees must attend in-person events at the Mississauga or Salt Lake City offices, including onboarding, team gatherings, and company-wide meetings.
- For hybrid positions: candidates must live within commuting distance of the listed office locations, with regular in-office attendance required for team-specific activities.
