Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, breakdown, and rollout of worldwide cloud setups using Terraform on AWS and Google Cloud, setting high-standard infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Set up, track, and maintain service level indicators, objectives, and alerting systems for core data platforms to reduce incident response time and ensure high availability.
- Design resilient CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, manage containerized workloads via Fargate, and implement fully automated deployment processes.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to deliver protected, expandable cloud infrastructure supporting Airflow, dbt, real-time data streams (Pub/Sub, Beam), and AI tools.
- Implement automation for cloud access controls (RBAC and ABAC), network protection measures, and cost efficiency strategies tailored to intensive data processing workloads.
