Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of data scientists and AI engineers with forward-thinking technical guidance
- Oversee the full lifecycle of advanced AI systems tailored to national security needs
- Foster a decision-making environment powered by Agentic AI principles
- Build foundational AI platforms that serve as core intelligence for internal data science teams
- Leverage deep knowledge of artificial intelligence and defense program complexities
- Analyze proprietary and public datasets to uncover insights, patterns, and risks
- Develop and deploy AI systems that scale efficiently and deliver operational impact
- Advance the use of data-centric research throughout the organization
- Identify and pioneer new applications of analytics for strategic outcomes in business and defense
- Utilize simulation methods such as discrete event modeling, Monte Carlo analysis, and stochastic optimization
- Improve existing platforms to support sophisticated simulations for critical defense scenarios
