Sardine is hiring a Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making across internal departments and client projects to enhance clarity and business impact
  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning systems for fraud prevention across various financial technology applications, from initial prototypes to live production environments
  • Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators for risk products and risk strategy effectiveness
  • Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify patterns that reduce fraud and increase customer approval rates
  • Engage directly with clients to assess their fraud-related challenges and convert analytical findings into practical, strategic guidance
  • Apply modeling and data analysis to shape risk controls that maintain strong user experience
  • Build and maintain automated, self-service analytics dashboards using business intelligence platforms
  • Partner with engineering teams to deploy scalable models, enhance system performance, and ensure robust data collection
  • Work closely with business, product, and engineering teams to transform operational needs into measurable, data-powered solutions
