Responsibilities

- Lead the creation, refinement, and optimization of algorithms for data processing and modeling workflows.
- Validate and implement algorithms in production environments with attention to performance and reliability.
- Advance innovation by investigating and applying emerging methods in data science, AI, and applied mathematics.
- Use programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB to develop tailored analytical solutions.
- Apply data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib to present insights clearly and effectively.
- Embed data science pipelines into enterprise systems to improve operational performance.
- Act as the main client contact, delivering progress updates and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Produce and present detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for varied audiences, including executive leadership.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across disciplines to meet project objectives.
- Lead research efforts to evaluate new data science tools, techniques, and technologies.
- Create novel methodologies and frameworks to respond to changing client requirements.
- Share findings through publications and contribute to the advancement of the data science and mathematical analysis fields.
- Deliver expert-level analysis and strategic recommendations in support of Department of Defense mission goals.
- Design and deploy advanced analytical tools and processes to enhance operational effectiveness for DoD clients.
- Ensure all project outputs meet DoD standards, policies, and security protocols.
