Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related technical field
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in data engineering roles
- Extensive hands-on experience with core components of the Apache Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS, Hive, Spark, and YARN
- Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Scala, Java, Python, SQL, and Bash
- Demonstrated experience working with both relational databases and NoSQL data stores
- Solid Linux system administration capabilities
- Proven track record in deploying, configuring, and maintaining distributed data systems and engineering tools
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and orchestration frameworks
Nice to Have
- Deep experience with Hadoop, Spark, Spark Streaming, and Hive in production environments
- Familiarity with data orchestration and ML pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, and Druid
- Practical knowledge of modern data lakehouse formats including Apache Iceberg and Apache Hudi
- Understanding of secure software development practices and standards such as OWASP and NIST guidelines
- Strong curiosity for emerging technologies and a collaborative mindset
