Responsibilities

Enhance data integrity, consistency, and governance using automated validation and monitoring systems.
Implement transformation logic to support analytical reporting and operational applications.
Evaluate and refine complex SQL queries to boost application and reporting efficiency.
Develop indexing, partitioning, and caching methods tailored for high-throughput workloads.
Monitor database performance and detect potential bottlenecks proactively.
Guide development teams in adopting efficient data access patterns.
Analyze query execution plans and apply performance tuning methodologies.
Administer AWS database platforms such as Redshift, Aurora, and SQL Server.
Manage database schema changes across development, staging, and production environments.
Support CI/CD pipelines for automated database and infrastructure deployments.
Ensure compliance with security, availability, backup, and disaster recovery protocols.
Automate routine database management tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with software engineers to support data-heavy applications.
