About the Role
The role involves developing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data reliability, and enabling insights through robust architecture. The candidate will work closely with data scientists and product teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows to ensure data accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with analytics teams to define data models and schemas
- Optimize data storage and query performance across platforms
- Support data governance and ensure compliance with privacy standards
- Monitor data pipeline health and troubleshoot issues
- Work with cloud-based data services to deploy and manage infrastructure
- Document data architecture and system changes
- Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools
- Improve data quality through validation and testing frameworks
- Partner with engineering teams to instrument application data collection
- Ensure data security and access controls are properly enforced
- Contribute to incident response for data-related outages
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices in data engineering
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline
