Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and refine sophisticated security measures for vital Department of Defense communication infrastructures and network environments
- Evaluate system weaknesses, create strategies to reduce risks, maintain adherence to DoD cybersecurity frameworks such as RMF, NIST 800-53, and CNSSI 1253, and lead quick responses to security breaches and malware threats
- Act as the lead technical expert on cybersecurity issues, coordinating with government program managers, external contractors, and key stakeholders to protect essential information systems
