AECOM is hiring a Senior Cost Manager (Infrastructure Construction Consultancy)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion, working with peers and Directors, client and others as required
  • Prepare feasibility estimates
  • Conduct cost planning and present without supervision
  • Support contract procurement
  • Develop tender documentation
  • Perform value engineering and maintain commercial awareness
  • Generate fees
  • Manage risk
  • Resolve disputes
  • Manage post-contract activities including cost reporting
  • Agree final accounts

Requirements

  • Experience in cost management across the full project lifecycle
  • Ability to work with peers, Directors, and clients
  • Proven ability to prepare feasibility estimates
  • Competence in cost reporting
  • Experience in agreement of final accounts
  • Demonstrated professional competence in dealings with clients and professional contacts
  • Experience in delivering cost planning presentations without supervision
  • Involvement in contract procurement and tender documentation
  • Experience in value engineering and commercial awareness
  • Experience in risk management and dispute resolution

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the water and environment sectors
  • Experience in highways, rail, and power sectors
  • Client experience with Highways England, Network Rail, and National Grid
