Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized institution, demonstrating strong academic achievement.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in data engineering or data architecture positions.
- At least three years of direct experience working with Snowflake data platform.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and solid capabilities in Python scripting.
- Demonstrated expertise in query optimization, workload management, and Snowflake features such as virtual warehouses, clustering, and micro-partitioning.
- Skilled in using ETL/ELT tools including dbt, Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or Fivetran.
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage team members effectively.
- Superior analytical thinking and systematic approach to resolving complex technical challenges.
- Excellent organizational abilities, time management, and clear communication skills.
- Understanding of data governance and management standards specific to the pharmaceutical sector.
- Ability to operate successfully in a multinational, matrixed organizational structure.
Nice to Have
- Hold a Snowflake Certified Architect credential or comparable certification.
- Prior work in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare domains with data systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and GxP standards.
- Strong ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
