Responsibilities
- Lead the complete bidding cycle for requests for quotation across designated regions, clusters, or markets.
- Develop precise cost projections by analyzing study design, methodology, timeline, and sample needs.
- Apply innovative thinking and analytical skills to address challenges in complex or specialized research bids.
- Work with sales, consulting, project management, operations, vendor teams, and product groups to define project scope and assess practicality.
- Coordinate directly with external vendors and field partners to secure pricing and verify availability and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all proposals follow established pricing policies, rate card rules, and internal sign-off procedures.
- Track and document changes in project costs due to scope adjustments, communicating financial impacts to relevant parties.
- Monitor proposal timelines to meet service level agreements for bid delivery.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and suggest more efficient research approaches when possible.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records in internal costing and quoting platforms.
- Assist in evaluating bid outcomes, including reasons for wins or losses, pricing comparisons, and cost variances.
- Flag potential risks related to capacity, feasibility, or delivery early and suggest actionable mitigation strategies.
