Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-level Windows Server, VMware, and Microsoft Azure platforms.
- Build and sustain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) solutions, including hybrid identity setups.
- Design and manage Remote Desktop Services (RDS) deployments.
- Develop and enforce platform standards, architectural blueprints, and implementation methodologies.
- Lead efforts to modernize infrastructure, adopt cloud technologies, and refresh aging systems.
- Own the strategy for backups, recovery, and disaster recovery using Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Develop and test recovery processes to ensure system resilience and operational preparedness.
- Apply security-first design principles and contribute to vulnerability management programs.
- Enforce identity and access management standards, including role-based access, conditional access, and privileged account controls.
- Create automation workflows for system provisioning, configuration, patching, and operational checks.
- Enhance system visibility through monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools.
- Provide technical guidance, mentor engineering staff, and support long-term infrastructure planning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years in enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, cloud engineering, or related fields.
- Extensive hands-on work with Windows Server environments.
- Extensive hands-on work with VMware vSphere.
- Extensive hands-on work with Active Directory.
- Extensive hands-on work with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Extensive hands-on work with Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Extensive hands-on work with Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
- Proven experience designing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of identity management, authentication protocols, and access control models.
- Experience supporting distributed, multi-location, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams, technical policies, and platform evolution plans.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud setups.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, APIs, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Hold relevant certifications from Microsoft, VMware, or Azure.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based service management frameworks.
- Background supporting cloud migrations, infrastructure transformations, M&A integrations, or major modernization efforts.
- Experience operating in manufacturing or tightly regulated enterprise settings.
