About the Role

Role Overview

As a Senior Commercial Sales Engineer, you will act as a technical partner to prospective customers, guiding them through product evaluations and solution planning. Your expertise will help shape custom configurations that align with client objectives across the Americas region, with a focus on the south region of the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear, tailored technical presentations that demonstrate product capabilities in real-world scenarios
  • Collaborate with prospects to identify and understand their infrastructure needs and security goals
  • Lead proof-of-concept deployments and manage multiple evaluations simultaneously
  • Develop test plans with customers and support them through each phase to ensure successful validation
  • Translate complex technical requirements into practical, scalable solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in cybersecurity and networking, including hands-on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and VPN technologies
  • Minimum of four years in a technical sales or systems integration role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend internal events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Network+, or Security+
  • Proven success in quota-bearing roles with a track record of closing technical deals
  • Experience supporting small to enterprise-level businesses in cybersecurity or networking
  • Ability to manage concurrent evaluations while maintaining attention to detail
