Responsibilities
- Evaluate performance and functionality of combustion systems such as furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, and incinerators, including associated support systems.
- Analyze mechanical condition, operational fitness, and projected lifespan of equipment.
- Detect root causes of equipment failures and malfunctions, and design effective engineering fixes.
- Advise on maintenance requirements, assess completed repairs, and assess spare parts planning.
- Perform initial assessments of heaters and furnaces and prepare pre-turnaround evaluation reports.
- Assist in commissioning processes, including verifying equipment delivery, inspecting installations, and supporting startup operations.
- Collaborate with technical specialists to ensure comprehensive solutions for clients.
- Define investigation scopes and engage relevant application and project teams when necessary.
- Lead training sessions and educational programs for customers.
- Visit current and prospective clients to ensure inclusion on approved vendor lists for all product offerings.
- Discover new business prospects and initiate formal inquiries.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Perform on-site inspections, resolve equipment issues, and deliver technical support.
- Collect market data, clarify quotation details, and assist in winning new orders.
- Work closely with internal departments including sales, engineering, production, and logistics.
- Provide on-site support during startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases.
- Enhance the effectiveness of field representatives or locate alternative distribution partners.
- Deliver technical seminars and instructional training to client teams.
- Supply product development teams with field-based feedback to drive innovation and improvements.
- Monitor client maintenance schedules and align promotional efforts with upcoming turnarounds.
- Operate in strict adherence to health, safety, environment, and quality standards.
