Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP using Terraform, with a focus on reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Operate and enhance the Kubernetes and GitOps platform, including EKS/GKE cluster management, Envoy/Gloo networking, Helm, and ArgoCD-based delivery.
- Develop and maintain fast, secure software delivery workflows using GitHub Actions, monorepo tooling, and JFrog Artifactory, along with shared backend templates and libraries.
- Lead full lifecycle migrations of critical systems, including observability tools, data stores, Kubernetes environments, and multi-account cloud setups, with defined rollback plans.
- Ensure operational excellence by managing Datadog observability, on-call duties, vulnerability remediation, secrets management, access controls (via Cloudflare/ZTNA, Okta, SSO, Workload Identity Federation), and cloud cost optimization.
- Amplify team effectiveness by building AI/ML development tools (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, Claude), leading technical reviews, setting standards, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across teams.

Team
The Cloud Engineering team maintains and evolves core infrastructure including cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, application security, change management, and standardized backend templates, serving as the foundational layer for all technical operations with a focus on robustness, security, and efficiency.
