Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, CloudSQL, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Operations, within a high-volume microservices ecosystem
- Lead the development, upkeep, and performance tuning of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Cloud Build, TeamCity, Maven, Nexus, and Ansible
- Enhance and oversee DevSecOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle, supporting over 700 monthly production deployments
- Create and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and handle configuration management via Ansible and Flux
- Develop and sustain automation scripts in Python and Shell to optimize operational workflows
- Diagnose and resolve intricate network, connectivity, and system-level issues in containerized (Docker/GKE) and Linux environments
- Set up and maintain TLS and certificate-based security, messaging integrations using IBM MQ, and sFTP connections
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure stable performance of Java 11 and Spring Boot microservices linked to Oracle Coherence, Oracle DB, and PostgreSQL ODS
- Engage in Agile rituals and help refine standardized DevOps methodologies within a global team of more than 120 members
- Convert business and functional requirements into resilient technical implementations, offering creative solutions to complex tooling problems
- Serve as a technical authority and mentor on DevOps best practices, guiding both co-located and remote team members
