About the Role

Success in this role means helping Field Engineering scale AI delivery while creating measurable impact across the business. Over time, this role should help increase delivery capacity for AI work without creating fragile single-threaded dependencies, convert more technical engagement into durable product adoption and retention, improve technical influence on pipeline and closed-won outcomes, and create repeatable AI delivery patterns that scale across regions and partner motions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact technical engagements focused on generative AI, including implementation projects, funded initiatives, proof-of-value exercises, and customer-facing AI efforts.
  • Convert customer objectives into actionable technical architectures, implementation roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
  • Design, configure, and validate AI and data solutions on AWS, prioritizing production-grade systems and services.
  • Manage end-to-end technical execution from initial discovery to final delivery, including design reviews, workshops, implementation support, and executive-level reporting.
  • Engage in complex customer environments where deep technical knowledge, rapid response, and trusted expertise are essential.
  • Support product adoption by guiding customers to implement and integrate offerings within AI and broader cloud initiatives.
  • Assist in acquiring new clients by leveraging technical consulting, implementation work, and proof-of-value engagements to open and advance opportunities.
  • Grow existing customer usage by enabling adoption of advanced features, launching new workloads, and transitioning to higher-value product and service models.
  • Strengthen collaboration with AWS partner teams, support funded programs, and position the company as a strategic technical partner in AI initiatives.
  • Identify recurring patterns, reusable components, and ad-hoc solutions that can evolve into standardized delivery methods, playbooks, or product improvements.
  • Transform successful custom implementations into scalable solution packages, templates, and standardized offerings for broader use.
  • Help standardize engagement scoping, delivery methodologies, and technical assets to increase team efficiency over time.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Engineers, Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, Engagement Managers, and partner teams to align and execute work effectively.
  • Provide technical leadership during discovery, planning, handoff, and delivery phases.
  • Ensure customer engagements are clearly scoped, well-documented, and aligned with defined success metrics.
  • Maintain visibility into active tasks, risks, dependencies, and upcoming actions.
  • Use established operating systems and workflows to keep customer engagement data accurate and trackable.
  • Contribute to the development of adoption playbooks, funding processes, Jira management practices, and operational rhythms needed to scale the Field Engineering model.
