Responsibilities
- Foster a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and promptly addressing potential hazards for employees, vendors, and clients.
- Deliver precise, well-structured estimates within established deadlines.
- Evaluate technical drawings and specifications to determine optimal construction approaches, consulting with subject matter experts as needed.
- Develop and sustain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, end users, and suppliers.
- Define project scopes and prepare formal request-for-quote documentation.
- Assess bid criteria, attend site visits and meetings, verify geotechnical data, develop risk assessments, and conduct material take-offs.
- Establish initial budgets for awarded projects and calculate pricing for change orders.
- Pursue bid success through accurate, competitive proposals.
