Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain supplier partnerships in alignment with organizational policies, including leading annual negotiations with key vendors.
- Ensure procured materials arrive on schedule to meet delivery timelines and prevent inventory shortages or financial disruptions.
- Track supplier performance metrics and enforce corrective actions to enhance product quality and on-time delivery.
- Oversee multiple suppliers and product categories to maintain continuous supply flow and competitive pricing.
- Lead procurement efforts for new product launches and engineering modifications.
- Evaluate and manage current and prospective suppliers to align with business requirements.
- Execute initiatives to achieve cost reductions both externally with suppliers and internally across operations.
- Assist in deploying global commodity strategies across regions.
- Collaborate with international sites to identify standardization opportunities and share best practices in supply chain management.
- Carry out additional tasks as required by management.
