CoverGo is looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Insurance, French Speaker to join our global, fully remote team. You will work directly with insurance clients to identify business challenges, develop analytical solutions, and translate requirements into actionable plans. Our mission is to empower all insurance companies to make insurance 100% digital and accessible to everyone.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients and technical teams to identify business problems and develop the right analytical approach and solution.
- Plan and design simple to semi-complex business processes and system modifications.
- Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements through techniques like work sessions and interviews.
- Create complex test case scenarios and oversee testing to verify client requirements are met.
- Develop business requirements documents and user stories to support required modifications.
- May plan, allocate, and monitor the work of other business analysts.
- Understand systems and data to surface actionable insights and assist in providing time estimates for project tasks.
- Aid in updating process and procedural documentation.
- Develop a basic understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.
- Support QA, UAT, and Release phases via defect analysis and change maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- A degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field.
- Previous experience working in the insurance industry is required.
- Knowledge of business analysis concepts: defining requirements, translating to technical solutions, and using an Agile approach to prioritize work into epics and sprints.
- Business analysis skills including facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is a must.
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation and documenting system functionality, data integration, and workflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must be based in Canada and willing to work CET hours (Central European Time).
- Must be fluent in French.
Nice to Have
- Insurtech or health insurance experience.
- Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS, LOMA, or III.
- Technical writing skills.
