Responsibilities
- Analyze customer contracts and communications to clarify unclear terms and establish proper billing methods
- Generate and process invoices and credit adjustments for non-routine or complicated billing cases
- Assist team members with invoice procedures using Zone, providing guidance and best practices
- Conduct quality reviews of team-generated invoices prior to customer distribution
- Answer customer billing questions through email by investigating issues and delivering timely, accurate responses
- Apply customer payments to outstanding invoices accurately on a daily basis
- Take ownership of collections for overdue accounts, escalating to relevant teams when necessary
- Track accounts receivable aging and report potentially problematic balances to management
- Contribute to process optimization initiatives and workflow enhancements in Zone on a project basis
- Handle higher volumes of work during peak billing periods in December, March, June, and September
- Collaborate with Deal Desk on contract design and with Fund Admin/CX teams on billing and collection matters
- Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency in billing, payment posting, and financial reporting
Compensation
Base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits package. U.S. base salary range: $60,000 - $83,000 USD. Actual pay varies based on experience, skills, location, and local pay regulations.
