Responsibilities
- Build and sustain applications and modules in the Ellucian Banner environment.
- Connect Banner with other institutional platforms such as ERP, CRM, and LMS systems.
- Enhance operational workflows using custom features and modifications within Banner.
- Develop and manage PL/SQL components including scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and packages for Oracle databases.
- Apply knowledge of integration tools and frameworks such as Ethos and APIs.
- Work with functional and technical teams to convert business needs into technical implementations.
- Analyze potential impacts and perform unit testing before deploying to production.
- Record configurations, development changes, and process flows for audit and maintenance purposes.
- Track system performance and recommend enhancements for better efficiency.
- Deliver high-level troubleshooting and support for issues related to Banner.
- Lead initiatives involving system updates, data migrations, and new system rollouts.
