Palmstreet is looking for a Senior Backend Infra Software Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of critical infrastructure projects. You'll be hands-on in architecture, feature iteration, and unblocking teammates within our small, fast-moving team, while leading key backend decisions and championing best practices.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable backend services with a focus on infrastructure components.
- Identify and implement reliability and performance improvements in our backend stack.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
- Establish yourself as an owner of a particular component, feature, or system with expert end-to-end understanding.
- Successfully complete projects at large scope while maintaining a consistently high level of productivity.
- Lead technical decisions and set best practices for backend development.
What We're Looking For
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science.
- 8+ years experience building highly scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range of 650k - 800k RMB.
- Equity grants provided as part of total compensation.
