Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale distributed backend systems serving millions of users.
- Drive end-to-end feature delivery from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Architect real-time, low-latency APIs and backend services for AI-driven conversational systems within Assist.
- Develop cloud-native services in Java, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Work on infrastructure components including AWS deployments, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes or ECS orchestration.
- Build robust APIs and backend services powering AI-driven products and real-time interactions.
- Ensure resiliency, fault tolerance, and compliance in high-throughput environments.
- Collaborate with product managers, infrastructure engineers, and other teams to deliver production-ready systems.
- Lead technical execution by breaking down complex project requirements into actionable tasks, distributing work effectively, and unblocking the team to maintain velocity.
- Mentor and grow talent by actively guiding junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous learning and technical excellence across distributed teams.
- Manage stakeholders as the primary technical liaison for product managers and cross-functional partners, translating product vision into technical strategy and proactively communicating progress, risks, and architectural trade-offs.
