Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain backend components including APIs, background processing, and third-party integrations.
- Enhance and manage the data infrastructure by writing accurate PostgreSQL and BigQuery queries to ensure affiliate metrics—clicks, conversions, commissions, and payouts—are reliable and current.
- Create internal reporting tools and dashboards for tracking payout summaries, revenue attribution, and cohort analysis.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks such as inefficient queries, slow jobs, and system constraints to maintain stability under high load.
- Incorporate AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor into daily workflows to accelerate development and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate asynchronously within a compact team, emphasizing ownership with minimal meetings—build, deploy, and monitor your own services.
- Participate in technical support rotations, assisting customer experience teams with advanced troubleshooting, custom script execution, and data anomaly investigations.
