Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain backend services and APIs that enable AI-powered functionality across the platform
- Develop high-quality Python applications that interface reliably with AI models in live production environments
- Work within a Python-based technology stack while integrating and maintaining components in legacy PHP systems
- Address challenging engineering problems related to video handling, content organization, creator tools, and system growth
- Make balanced architectural choices that align technical quality with user requirements and strategic goals
- Create detailed technical documentation to support clear communication and teamwork across engineering units
- Maintain prompt and transparent communication, responding to inquiries and sharing progress updates consistently
- Engage in code review processes by offering helpful feedback and incorporating insights from peers
- Produce code that is clean, testable, and easy for others to maintain and extend over time
- Promote strong engineering standards including testing rigor, documentation, monitoring, and system reliability
