Responsibilities
- Understand the 'why' behind what you're building and challenge assumptions when needed.
- Proactively identify opportunities to create better outcomes.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers from other disciplines.
- Discuss trade-offs with product managers.
- Explain technical constraints to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile engineers to design elegant end-to-end solutions.
- Take ownership not just of your code, but of the outcomes.
- Jump into a customer issue, improve team processes, or mentor colleagues.
- Peek at frontend code, ask questions about ML models, or dive into analytics to understand how features perform.
- Ensure automated testing, thorough code reviews, and security best practices are fundamental to how you work.
- Balance technical excellence with pragmatism, keeping the end user and business goals in mind.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional backend development with a product engineering mindset
- Excellent knowledge of .NET platform and C#
- Hands-on experience architecting and evolving distributed systems in production
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers from other disciplines
- Strong business acumen – understanding how your work connects to company objectives
- Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences
- A builder's mentality: caring deeply about shipping great products, not just writing great code
