Manifest is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer – Product & Platform to architect and build the core systems that power our offerings. You will be responsible for developing robust, scalable backend services that directly impact both our product features and foundational platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services
- Collaborate closely with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and enhance platform-level capabilities to support product growth
- Drive technical design and architectural decisions for new features and systems
- Ensure high code quality, performance, and security standards
- Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a senior backend engineer building complex, distributed systems
- Deep understanding of backend architecture, API design, and data modeling
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and microservices patterns
