Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to integrate user-facing elements
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure the security and integrity of financial data systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Support the deployment and monitoring of backend systems
- Maintain existing codebases and refactor when necessary
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Ensure compliance with financial data regulations and security standards
- Work with relational and non-relational databases
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
- Integrate with third-party services and financial platforms
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration pipelines
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts
- Collaborate on incident response and post-mortem analysis
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to documentation for internal and external use
- Support onboarding and mentoring of junior engineers
