Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product initiatives from planning through delivery within a small team setting.
- Contribute to architectural planning and participate in key technical decisions.
- Perform peer code reviews and engage in team retrospectives to drive continuous improvement while mentoring less experienced developers.
- Work with modern tech stack including Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and Astra-DB.
- Collaborate on technical projects to enhance system scalability, security, and architecture alongside seasoned engineers.
- Exhibit strong communication, accountability, ownership, and teamwork, always considering product impact and customer experience.

You are a Java engineer interested in finance and investing, ideally with knowledge of financial markets or a strong desire to learn. You can translate complex financial logic into robust code. For remote roles, your location must be within ±2 hours of Berlin’s time zone. English proficiency is required; German is beneficial.
